Arden Mackensie has been writing creatively since she could reach a keyboard. While she is an avid reader of all genres, she especially enjoys fantasy and science fiction. She has a deep love of storytelling and strives to express truth, goodness, and beauty in all her work. When she’s not locked in her office dreaming up the next world to create, Arden can be found enjoying the wonders of Central Florida, both natural and man-made, with her husband and two daughters.
Arden's writing roots
Arden's first ever piece of fiction was written in response to a big move her family made when she was six. It was only a page long and featured three best friends who ran away from home to live in the woods because one of the friends had to move away. Super original, right? Since that first project, she hasn't stopped. She has been writing fiction for fun ever since, and ghostwriting for the blogosphere for almost 15 years.
What's on the horizon
Plotting and outlining for Vosegus Ascends is currently underway, as well as writing Serving Up Sparks. When she's not working on those or promoting Pharus Awakens, you can find Arden working on expanding the world of the Living Library.
